I have about 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Currently, I working as a Data Scientist in an IT Strategy Consulting company where I focus mainly on healthcare projects. Also, I have my MS in Epidemiology with a Certificate in Data Science from Georgetown University.

AI in Healthcare Specialization - Coursera

This gives an overview of how Artificial Intelligence is used in Healthcare. It is not public health-focused but it is a good starting point.

Machine Learning for Health - MIT Course

This is a comprehensive course on how to apply machine learning in Healthcare. I suggest taking this course after the Coursera specialization to deepen your knowledge of this field.

Tableau eLearning

I recommend becoming a Tableau Desktop Specialist or completing the Tableau Data Analyst or Data Scientist training.

The Data Science Course 2021: Complete Data Science Bootcamp

This course gives a great overview of Data Science to get students up to speed.

Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra

Anyone that is a data scientist should have a strong foundation in Linear Algebra. I recommend taking this.

Health Data 101

This course is good for those who might have a data science background but are new to healthcare.

Getting Started with Git and GitHub

This course is good for learning how to post your data science project to GitHub to share with employers.

Introduction To Probability And Statistics

This is an excellent course to get up to speed on probability.

SQL

This course is good for those who need to learn SQL. SQL is probably the best starting place to become a health data analyst or health data scientist.
